Aren’t the Hubbards just the cutest?
I loved taking their anniversary photos at Deer Creek Reservoir in Midway, Utah. Celeste describes herself as a T-Swift is life, proud Jersey Girl who never tires of Chipotle and is the best to watch sports with. She says Matthew is known as a bike enthusiast, he’s the favorite fun uncle, still loves his Super Nintendo, and is always planning the next adventure. They’ve been married for 2 years and are planning on moving from Utah in the next few months for Matthew to continue his post MBA career. COVID gave them one more year in the mountains and they wanted to celebrate that with gorgeous mountain photos.
We picked Deer Creek Reservoir for their shoot. The mountains made for the most perfect backdrop, complete with the gorgeous evening light. We really lucked out with perfect weather! This spot in Midway, UT is so perfect because you get so much of what Utah is about: the field, the lake, and the mountains. It was so fitting for the Hubbards!
Celeste rented a dress from Rent the Runway and it was utter genius. Her dress was so pretty and gave their shoot a touch of glam so these photos felt special and important. This is the first time I’ve had a client rent from Rent the Runway and I would definitely recommend it to future clients! Don’t worry about buying a dress you’ll only wear once, just borrow one for epic photos and feel like the glamorous woman you are!
Celeste and Matthew were so easy to be around, they’re so kind and laid back, you don’t feel like you need to put on a show for them at all. Their fun personalities really translate through the photos. I loved working with the Hubbards and wish them well on their next adventure!
