Michelle and Isai’s Spring Wedding in Atlanta, GA
about the session
Michelle and Isai were meant for each other! This cute couple met on mutual and dated through quarantine in 2020. They were married in the Atlanta, Georgia LDS Temple.
Isai knew that Michelle was the woman for him when he realized how much he could trust her. Michelle loved that she could be 100% herself with Isai and quickly fell as much in love with him and he was with her.
Isai really surprised Michelle for the engagement. That day they hiked up to a frozen waterfall and while there, Isai pulled out a bouquet and asked Michelle to pose for some photos beneath the falls. For one photo he asked her to turn around and close her eyes as if she were soaking up the sunshine. Michelle turned back around and found Isai down on one knee with the ring in hand.
The two had the most beautiful wedding, followed by a touching reception in Fayetteville, GA. The couple decided on this location because it was the place Michelle grew up. Isai's family flew up from Peru to attend the wedding. Both the bride and groom lost their fathers years ago so the couple wanted to honor them and include them in their wedding. They had many details that were really thoughtful including their cultural heritages and remembering their dads.
One of the most touching parts of the whole evening was when it was time for the daddy-daughter dance. Michelle had asked her dad's father (her grandpa) if he would take his spot. Not knowing if he would be able to make it, she also asked her brother-in-law. When it came time she started to dance with her brother-in-law only to be politely excused when the grandfather made it to the reception. Everyone was crying, it was so sweet to see this grandpa standing in for his son. Isai then danced with his mother while he sang the lyrics to her and told her how much he loved her. They both cried, and tears were again flowing for everyone in attendance.
Isai and Michelle's wedding was a perfect combination of sentimental details and love. This was a wedding that will not be forgotten. Congrats you two, I wish you the best!
