The Roberts Family | Springtime Mountain Meadow Family Photos

This beautiful family is the Roberts family. They are a young, vibrant, amazingly happy family who just graduated from Brigham Young University and are heading off on their next adventure down in sunny Las Vegas. They wanted one last family photoshoot in their current gorgeous Utah home, so we headed to one of Northern Utah's most beautiful spots, Deer Creek.
This meadow we photographed in right near Deer Creek Reservoir in Provo Canyon is a total Utah photographer’s dream! The flat grass combined with the water in the background combined with those amazing peaks…*sigh*, you can’t really get better than that. This was the perfect spot to memorialize their Utah home before they head to a very different-looking home in Las Vegas.
Choosing which photos to share from this session was one of the hardest things of my life! They were all so cute and equally incredible! This family nailed their outfits not only in the color palette they chose but the actual styled outfits themselves. I mean that little yellow romper?? So perfect. And that baby blue? Stop! They were so fun, laid back, and trusted me 100%, which as I always say, is my favorite quality in a client.
As I showed them some of the amazing photos I was getting on my camera, they kept laughing and saying, “These are the best pictures we’ve ever had taken!” which totally fed my ego and helped us ALL relax more and more. Having that comfort in knowing we were getting the perfect shots made for so many great little moments that we snagged.
Oh, and did I forget to mention the most amazing part of all of this? This was a MINI SESSION, meaning we got all these delicious, amazing photos in just 20 minutes. I'm telling you, mini sessions are where the magic happens. Thank you Roberts family for an amazing day and best of luck on your move.
