The Baeza Family | Family Session on the Provo River Trail
about the session
The Baezas were so much fun to work with. Not only are they amazing people, but they’re little family is so darling. Rachel, Richard, and William made my job easy!
Rachel and Richard met through their student ward at BYU. Richard and one of Rachel’s roommates worked together on an activities committee, so he spent a lot of time at Rachel’s apartment. It turned out that Richard always suggested they come to Rachel’s place to see her! They started dating in January, got engaged in May, and got married in August of the same year. Four years later, they’re living their dream life with their little one, William.
We took the Baeza’s family pictures on the Provo River trail in the Provo Canyon. I love this section of the trail because it’s so close to Utah Lake, has gorgeous tree cover, and is right where a big flock of ducks live. It’s so cute to watch kids be so excited about the ducks! I always love when there are some fun elements incorporated into the location… It really brings out people’s genuine personalities.
The Baeza family showed up looking amazing with all the components of good wardrobe choices: texture, pattern, neutrals, layers, a flattering dress… it was perfect. We started out getting that perfect mantel photo and quickly got to business following and playing with William. He was so curious and wanted to explore everything along the Provo River. He was totally in his element! And his parents were so good. They encouraged him to explore, and played with him in all the right moments. Honestly, that’s what made the results so good.
