The Stebar Family | Winter Family Session at Alpharetta City Hall

I am extra excited to introduce you to this family I photographed recently because this is my brother's family! Meet Brian and his beautiful family!
Brian is my older brother. He and his wife Megan live in north of Atlanta, where they moved soon after they were married. They have three beautiful children, my niece and nephews, Jeffrey, Sam, and Ellie. It is really fun because Brian and I have had our kids within months of each other, so our kids have cousins the same age.
The shoot took place in downtown Alpharetta. This downtown area is so charming and has tons of locations that are perfect for family photos. City Hall has gorgeous grounds, beautiful architecture, and works well at any time of day. It was the ideal location for this family photo shoot.
My favorite part of this shoot was getting to play with my nephews and niece. Because we’ve always lived states apart, I haven’t gotten to spend much time with my brother and his family, so having the opportunity to do this shoot was really special. I was able to spend some real quality time with his family and we just talked and laughed together the entire shoot.
During the shoot, we had a lot of fun playing Avengers. I love to play games with my client's children during family photoshoots so I can really loosen the kids up and get them having fun. Jeffrey and Sam love Iron Man and Spiderman (respectively) so their mission was to give me the best smiles while acting naturally so the bad guys didn’t know we were planning a sneak attack. Playing games with kids is the best way to get genuine smiles and easy participation.
I had such a great time not only photographing my brother's family, but having some quality time with him, his sweet wife, and my adorable niece and nephews.
