The Viehwig Family | Baby's First Photo Shoot in the Provo Canyon
about the session
I’ve been taking Paige and Ty’s photos for literal years.
From extended family sessions to anniversary sessions, it’s been such a pleasure to see their family change throughout the years. It’s been so fun to get to know them over the years! I really love working with the Viehwig’s every chance I get. Paige and Ty are fun, energetic, and have a vibrance about life that you just can’t help but love. This past year they’ve welcomed baby Edelweiss to their family and it’s been so fun to see how these two bright lights parent. As you can expect, they’re fun, loving, and give her such a great introduction to the world.
We took the Viehwig’s family photos at Squaw Peak in Provo. When I first started shooting in Utah, it quickly became one of my favorite locations here. What’s amazing about this particular valley spot on Squaw Peak is that as the sun moves toward the horizon, you get so much diversity from the same place. I love areas like this because you can have one or multiple client sessions and have it look like you were someplace completely different. Especially in the summertime, Squaw Peak is so stunning.
Paige and Ty were so fun with baby Edelweiss! Isn’t she just the cutest thing? Her little dress and bow were so adorable. All three of them laughed and played and this baby couldn’t have been better. I started to wonder if it was even possible for her to be in a bad mood! She’s definitely a daddy’s girl and loved being held by Ty and also having him make her laugh. I love the shots we got of just them two!
As always, it was such a pleasure to work with Paige and Ty again. I’m so happy for them and the fun phase of life they’re in!
